ABOUT FREE COUCH RECORDS

FREE COUCH RECORDS is guerilla aural warfare against what we percieve to be the increasingly profit-based local music scene (while we recognize that the scene as a whole is a for-profit entity, we feel that it has seeped more steadily into small-time scenes [or at least this has become more apparent to us recently]). FREE COUCH RECORDS is helping to overthrow the ruling class by working closely with artists we like to release their material. We set them up in luxurious FREE COUCH RECORDS at [location redacted], where we use state-of-last-year's art equipment to record their spankin' tunes. We are as involved as the artist wants beyond this point, be it through mixing, promotion, art, or anything else they want.
